PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Dr. Sheehy is a native of the Los Gatos area and has been involved in veterinary medicine since he was 15 years old. He began as a kennel attendant and later became a veterinary technician here at Los Gatos Dog and Cat Hospital in 1989. Dr. Sheehy heads up the mobile appointment service offered by the hospital.

His hobbies include whitewater rafting, hiking, volleyball, water and snow skiing. He also loves sushi and gourmet food and wine. In fact, he spends two Sundays per month pouring wine in the tasting room of Hanna winery in Santa Rosa.

He has a mixed breed dog named Lada that he brought back from the Cook Islands, where he volunteered for 2 months between December 1999 and January 2000. You may see the two of them frequently on the Los Gatos creek trails.
