Laine Gates, Administration and Receptionist

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Laine has lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains for thirty years with her husband and varying numbers of dogs and cats. A client of Los Gatos Dog and Cat Hospital since the early '80s, she started working as a part-time receptionist in 1994. It soon became apparent that working here was much more interesting than running her own business, so she took on full time responsibilities in the summer of 1997.

She enjoys long walks with her dogs Henry the German Shepherd, and Ditto the Australian cattle dog. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, and tending to all the outside tasks that living in the mountains demands. Reading while serving as a pillow to her cat, Tigger is her favorite means of relaxation.
