Shilo Gillan, Technician
|
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Shilo has been working as an animal nurse for ten years.
She joined our hospital in the fall of 1999. She has attended many
continuing education seminars and conferences. Her love of all animals
extends especially to working with feral cats.
Shilo has lived in the Los Gatos area for 16 years, and she is
a graduate of Los Gatos High School. Not so long ago she rescued
a cute orange kitten that weighed only ounces when he came to our
hospital. After giving him lots of love and care, Shilo became attached…it
was obvious that he would have to go live with her! The kitten was
named Carl, after the nice man who found him in Tahoe.
One of her very favorite things to do is spend time with her Laborador
named Little Bit and her kitties Trapper John M.D., Mr. Scooter
Pants, and of course Carl. She also has a super cute chameleon named
Louie. Shilo is very close to her family, who all live in the area.
And, when she isn’t humming “Oh Canada” (you’ll
have to ask her) Shilo is either walking her dog, reading a good
book, gardening or cooking.
