Our hospital values the relationship we have with local area specialists. Further, we believe that a second opinion can be very beneficial. When one of our patient's care exceeds the scope of our general practice we consult with and often refer their owners to board certified specialists who have advanced training in such areas as Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and Orthopedic Surgery. While any of our patients are being treated by a specialist great care is taken by both hospitals to update one another on a regular basis.

Most specialists see patients on the basis of referral only, which does not have to be a road block for our clients and their pets. We will always be happy to offer the option of seeing a specialist.
