Personal Information
Mardee grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains riding horses and training dogs. Early interests were gymkana, 3-day eventing and motocross. Dogs have always been a huge part of her life. Training and caring for neighbor dogs lead to her first jobs.
Today, she and her husband live in the San Jose foothills with their furry four-legged children. Her cats are Neelix, Spot and Orange – 8 year old litter mates. Her dogs are Ally (Australian Cattle Dog), Tater (Pomeranian), and Clark Kent (Pomeranian). All of her “children” are rescue animals or foster pets that ended up staying! Her hobbies are enjoying flea markets and taking care of her acre of orchards, roses and agility field. As well as going to agility trials, Ally and Tator have been to USDAA World Agility Championships for the last 3 years. Last year, Tator finished 5th at the Championship! Mardee also teaches advanced agility: www.westsideagility.com
